FMU Athletics is holding its annual chicken bog fundraiser at the University Center lawn tomorrow, Oct. 7, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Athletics Department will be selling meal plates of chicken bog with sausage, green beans, candied yams and a slice of bread.

Tickets for the fundraiser went on sale in September, and will continue to be sold throughout the event. Anyone interested in purchasing a ticket in advance can contact any of the Athletics coaches. The cost of each ticket is $6. Proceeds from the fundraiser go to the Athletic Department.

“It [the fundraiser] directly benefits our student athletes and all athletic programs at the universities,” baseball coach Art Inabinet, who coordinated the event with Athletic Director Murray Hartzler, said.
