We ask that anyone having information about any crimes committed on campus call 661-1109. You don’t need to tell us who you are; just tell us what you know. You can provide your information anonymously through our “Silent Witness” page at on the campus police web site (http://www.fmarion.edu/about/police ). In the past, “Silent Witness” reports have provided leads on cases under investigation. Thanks to those community members concerned with keeping FMU safe and secure. A report of A Simple Assault, Off Campus at Patriot Place Apartments. The victim reports being assaulted by an unknown subject.
08-20-12
A report of Drug Narcotic Violations and Providing False Information to Police in Parking Lot “G”. Officers made contact and found marijuana in the vehicle. Three subjects jailed one of the three, a student, was also referred to Student Affairs.

A report of Alleged Suicidal Gestures (Non-student) at the Education Foundation Building. A non-student made threats to harm self. Referred to Doctor.

A report of Petty Larceny in the Forest Villas. The victim reports their wallet missing from an unsecured room.

A report of Drug Narcotic Violations and Liquor Law Violations in Palmetto Hall. Two students issued State Tickets and referred to Student Affairs.

A report of an off campus Larceny at the American Legion. The victim reports their wallet, keys and FMU ID stolen.
A report of Damage to Personal Property in Parking lot “F”. The damage was caused by a minor vehicle collision.
A report of a Weapon Law Violation in Parking Lot “G”. A weapon was found in a car. One non-student jailed.
A report of Liquor Law Violations and Violation of Written FMU Policy/Regulation in the Village Apartments. A loud gathering with alcohol resulted in eight students being referred to Student Affairs.

A report of Assault-Intimidation, Obscene Harassing Telephone Calls and harassment in Watson hall. The victim reports getting unsolicited threatening phone calls.
A report of Trespass of Real Property and Guest Visitation Violation in the Forest Villas. One non-student on the Trespass List jailed. One student referred to Student Affairs.

A report of Driving under Suspension (DUS) on Alumni Drive. A non-student was found DUS during a traffic stop and issued a State Ticket.
A report of Violation of Written FMU Policy/Regulation at Griffin Athletics Complex. One student referred to Student Affairs.

Campus Police officers responded to eleven (11) requests for Medical Assistance during this period.
