We ask that anyone having information about any crimes committed on campus call 661-1109. You don’t need to tell us who you are; just tell us what you know. You can provide your information anonymously through our “Silent Witness” page at on the campus police web site (http://www.fmarion.edu/about/police ). In the past, “Silent Witness” reports have provided leads on cases under investigation. Thanks to those community members concerned with keeping FMU safe and secure. A report of Damage to Personal Property in Parking Lot “H”; a vehicle was damaged while parked.
A report of Damage to Personal Property in Parking Lot “F”; a vehicle was damaged while parked.

A report of a Simple Assault at the CEMC; an unidentified male flipped up the skirt of the victim.
09-14-12
A report of Harassment that occurred at various locations; the victim continues to be contacted after telling the subject to cease.
A report of Conduct that Threatens Health and Safety in Founders Hall; the subject had an emotional outburst in class and was referred to Student Affairs.
A report of Harassment that occurred at various locations; the victim continues to get unsolicited contacts from the subject. One student referred to Student Affairs.

A report of Guest Visitation Violation in Marion State Hall; a non-student was escorted from campus and the student was referred to Student Affairs.
A report of Drug Violation and Liquor Law Violation in Parking Lot “G”; three nonstudent jailed.

A report of Theft from a Building at the Heyward Community Center; unsecured personal property was stolen by an unknown person.

A report of Assault – Intimidation at various locations; the victim continued to receive unwanted texts resulting in a verbal confrontation. Two students referred to Student Affairs.
A report of Liquor Law Violation on Patriot Drive; one non-student issued a state citation and a trespass warning.

A report of Damage to State Property at the Athletics Complex; an unknown individual damaged a gate at the emergency lane.
A report of Possession of Alcohol under 21, Excessive Noise and Disturbing Schools in the Forest Villas; 15 students referred to Student Affairs, four issued state citations and one jailed for Disturbing Schools.

A report of Drug Equipment Violation, Open Container Violation and Trespass Warning Issued; one student issued a state citation for drug paraphernalia possession and referred to Student Affairs. One non-student issued a state citation for alcohol possession and a Trespass Notice. One other non-student issued a Trespass Notice.
A report of Failure to Comply with Directions of a University Official in Parking Lot “B”; two student referred to Student Affairs.

Campus Police officers responded to nine (9) requests for Medical Assistance during this period. (as of 09/26/12)
